Graduation Rates for First-Time First-Year Students

The charts below show four-, five-, and six-year graduation rates for first-time first-year undergraduate students who entered UVA after Fall 2009.

 
 

Notes:
Graduation rates for groups with less than 10 students are not shown.
Graduation rates represent the percent of entering first-time first-year students graduating by the end of the summer following their fourth, fifth, or sixth year. Transfer students are not included in the calculations.
International students are those who are not citizens or nationals of the United States and who are in this country on a visa or temporary basis and do not have the right to remain indefinitely. This definition is synonymous with the NCES IPEDS category "U.S. Nonresident"
Graduation rates for student athletes are posted by NCAA on behalf of member schools in accordance with the Student Right-to-Know Act from 1990. Please see https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2013/11/19/graduation-rates.aspx and search specifically for the University of Virginia for the most recent data.
