Students are counted only once within any particular degree level. Each column includes degrees conferred in three terms: summer and fall of the first calendar year and spring of the second. Ph.D. students in Architecture, Basic Medical Sciences, Education and Nursing, as well as master's students in Basic Medical Sciences and Commerce, are counted within the appropriate school, even though, for some schools and for some years, those students registered through Arts and Sciences.
