Employees have been categorized as full- or part-time at the University, rather than in a particular school or department.
International employess are those who are not citizens of the United States and who are in this country on a visa or temporary basis and do not have the right to remain indefinitely. This definition is synonymous with the NCES IPEDS category "U.S. Nonresident."
The Medical Center uses the term "permanent employees" instead of "salaried employees."
Employee counts for years prior to 2017 are available upon request using the Data Request process.
Prior to 2023, Medical Center full-time counts were based on employees working 40/week. Effective 2023, Full-Time counts are based on employees regularly scheduled to work at least seventy-two (72) hours per pay period.
